High-density Wi-Fi for a 65,000-seat stadium
A packed stadium is a hostile radio environment. Fans expected LTE class performance on Wi-Fi, but the construction window was locked to the NFL calendar, any slip meant launching to empty seats. Legacy cellular was buckling under 20%+ congestion on game days.
Built a single master schedule that reconciled GC concrete pours, low-voltage rough-in, AP placement, and RF validation. Ran daily RFI triage with the GC, weekly exec reporting with the venue, and a submittal pipeline that kept the network vendor ahead of the concourse finish. Negotiated the lease + local regulatory compliance in parallel so Day-1 wasn't blocked by paperwork.
Network went live on the targeted game day. Cellular congestion dropped 20% inside the bowl, and the venue reported a measurable lift in concourse POS throughput. Model was repeated for DFW Airport's high-density deployment.
